About the Owner

My name is Kaleene Knight and I am the creator and owner of The Rusty Barn. I started this company because I not only love to create but I have always loved working in retail and getting to help others find products that bring them joy. I have a wonderful supportive husband and 5 amazingly energetic boys that keep me on my toes all the time. They have become one of my biggest motivations because I want to see this company become something that they can be apart of when they get older as well.

The name The Rusty Barn was inspired by my grandpa who passed in 2014. As a kid I loved playing with these really cool buildings he use to make for fun. He made a church, saloon, cottage, school and even this beautiful barn. Before he passed he gave them all to me since he knew how much I had always loved them. After he passed my husband and I started talking about the idea of one day building our forever home for our family and wanted a barn style home. We then decided we would name it The Rusty Barn so that my papa, who's name was Rusty, could always be apart of our family. When we started talking about creating my own company and being able to create items for people, that name was the only name that made sense.

This business is very much my heart and I enjoy getting to share that with every person that buys an item from me. It is solely creations with you in mind.
